I love Kevin McLeod’s eyebrows. They are a window into his soul. A young, inexperienced couple sacks their Project Manager – the person who can smooth their path ahead, prevent many own goals, save them thousands, and possibly even save their marriage? They’re practically touching his hairline.
Similarly, there is one person who can smooth the waters at your next industrial photo shoot, and elevate it beyond our expectations – your Site Manager!
At a minimum they grant site access, but they don’t have to be helpful. Especially if they don’t trust me, your photographer. You really don’t want your Site Manager to employ the Kevin McLeod Eyebrow Scale of Disbelief when dealing with your photographer.
We really want your Site Manager’s Eyebrows to stay in place. Do that we need to turn them into an ally for our photoshoot.

How do we turn your Site Manager from Gatekeeper to Ally?
👉 Put them in direct contact with me, your photographer, BEFORE the shoot. I’ll ask nerdy safety and site questions only someone experienced at being on sites would know to ask. Things like
- What JSAs/SWMS they need
- Inductions and PPE
- Site schedules & escorts
- Security clearances
- What their favourite snack is
- …and more
When the photographer and the Site Manager become besties we identify unexpected shoot opportunities and get super smooth logistics. And, we make sure work on site still carries on smoothly with minimal interruption.
